Mon, Jan 14: Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. Early morning arrival at Half Moon Cay, Holland America’s award-winning private island paradise. Picture a two-mile crescent of silky, white sand beach rimmed in blue, where you’re invited to spend the day playing and relaxing. There are a variety of activities from which to choose, including horse riding on trails and on the beach, a stingray swimming adventure, walking a nature trail, rent a Hobie Cat or just relaxing at a private beachfront cabana. Relax with a massage on the beach, enjoy a tropical cocktail and dine on delectable barbecue.
Tue, Jan 15: Enjoy a day at sea, indulging any whim onboard with activities and spa services.
Wed, Jan 16: Ocho Rios, Jamaica. What comes to mind when thinking of Jamaica? Most are likely to think of reggae first, of course, and Bob Marley was born right here in the St. Ann Parish. The first Bond film, Dr. No, was shot here, while creator Ian Fleming lived nearby at his Goldeneye estate. The area near Ocho Rios has seen significant upgrades to its ports and roads in recent years and getting around to check out this part of Jamaica is much easier than in the past. Hikers will enjoy exploring the nearby region – walking among all the plants that provide the spices and fruits that make Jamaican food so outrageously delicious.
Thu, Jan 17: George Town, Grand Cayman. Hit the duty-free shops for designer jewelry, perfume and rum cakes, visit the Cayman Turtle Farm or Stingray City, or snorkel in the clear, calm turquoise waters off Seven Mile Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.
Fri, Jan 18: Cozumel, Mexico. Play the day away on the island of Cozumel, known for its world-class diving, snorkeling and fishing in the second largest reef in the world. Spend some time exploring the Mayan ruins at Tulum, spectacularly situated on the sea cliffs.
Sat, Jan 19: At sea.
Sun, Jan 20: Disembark in Fort Lauderdale and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
