At Laughing Moon Chocolates watch as candy makers boil, pull, turn, roll, and twist to create candy canes – you may even try making one yourself. Fri, Dec 7: Travel to Montpelier to visit Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks where the Morse family’s eight-generation maple experience is shown via video and live presentations. An outdoor museum and folklore dioramas depict early farm life in Vermont. Delight in Burr Morse’s soft sculpture and woodcarvings of Vermont folk life characters and mythical creatures. Continue to the Vermont State House for a tour and to see the State’s Christmas tree and Victorian inspired decorations on display. Head to Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory for a tour where you will watch a MOO-vie, see how the world-famous ice cream is made and sample the flavor the day.
